How To Know If You Are Flossing Correctly
Flossing every day is one of protecting your teeth from cavities, enamel erosion, sensitivity, bad odour and discolouration. Here is how to know if you are flossing correctly.
– Little blood is normal when flossing but if bleeding exceeds, you are either flossing wrongly or there is an underlying issue.
– Always floss with up to 18-inch floss and ensure your sessions last five minutes.
– Floss the sides of your teeth gently, in an up and down motion.
If you are not confident in your flossing techniques, please consult your dentist.
